The Lone Star Lions Eye Bank, a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, receives support through private donations and contributions from the Lions Clubs within Texas Lions Districts 2-S3, 2-S5, and 2-X3. Tax deductible donations are always needed and greatly appreciated.


In 1974, Central Texas Lions expanded their sight conservation efforts into eye donation and sight restoration by chartering the Lions Eye Bank of Districts 2-S3 & 2-S5, Inc. This two-district Eye Bank and the Eye Bank in Texas MD 2-X3 merged in June, 1995, and is now known as the LONE STAR LIONS EYE BANK (LSLEB). Our Eye Bank is accredited by the Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA).


The 20/20 Visionary Club was created to promote awareness of eye donation and transplantation in Central Texas. In addition, the 20/20 Visionary Club is an important part of the monetary gifts that the eye bank receives.

Your greatest reward will be knowing that you are helping someone to see. Each year that you decide to renew your gift, a medallion insert for your plaque will be sent to commemorate your gift. Donations should be sent to:

The Lone Start Lions Eye Bank is part of the Randall's Good Neighbor Program. This program is a simple way to help provide donations to the eye bank.

All you have to do is link your Randall's Remarkable Card (which is free at any Randall's Store) to our organization, and Randall's will donate a portion of the total amount spent by all of their customers that our linked to our organization. This can amount to a several thousand dollar donation each year if we get enough people involved. It costs nothing to the consumer, so you're helping out the eye bank without having to send us a penny. Once your card is linked to our organization, you don't have to do a thing.

The next time you're at Randalls, remember to link your Remarkable Card to our number and your purchases will be credited to our account. Just tell the cashier that you want to link your card to Organization Number 4718, and your purchases will be credited to our account. You only have to link it once, and it will stay linked every time you make a purchase at Randall's (you can change the link to a different organization at any time if you want to help out several organizations).

Randall's will tabulate all of the purchases by all of the customers who have linked their cards to our account. They will send us a donation that is a percentage of this total amount! Easy!
